The high demand in foreign markets for asparagus, grapes, avocados and mangoes national has led Peru to position itself as the eighth largest producer of fruits and vegetables in the world, the Commission for the Promotion of Peru Export and said Thursday Tourism (PromPeru).

“We are the world's eighth largest supplier of fruits and vegetables, with asparagus, grapes, avocados and mangoes. All this combination of products have led the Peru continued progress in this area, ”the director of export promotion Promperú, Luis Torres said.

Other Peruvian products like blueberries, berries and pomegranates that are conquering new markets and is expected to achieve figures similar to the previous growth.
