A Japanese farmer feeds his sheep with asparagus

Eight years ago, by a fluke, sheep livestock Takanori Nishikawa, Bibai, Hokkaido, found that feeding sheep with asparagus diet resulted in a more flavorful meat. Now the farmer has found a growing demand for lambs and rams senior servants based on asparagus. I had no experience in breeding animals when, eight years ago, a local farmer gave asparagus roots as food for the three sheep that his father had as pets. He realized that feeding sheep with asparagus might result in tastier than the servants of compound feed based on animal flesh. No doubt his lamb has a sweeter flavor that the imported meat, which he attributes to the level of sugar in the asparagus. Nishikawa's flock now consists of 180 head of sheep, and demand for their product is higher. Furthermore, to close the circle, sheep droppings are sent to farmers in asparagus fields as fertilizer.

The Japanese firm Spread open in 2017 the first fully automated agricultural plant in the world, with robots in the whole process: from seed to harvest.

Spread, headquartered in Kyoto, explained that this plant will begin operating as usual mid 2017. Mechanization will allow, among other advances, producing 30,000 heads of lettuce a day, as noted on their website. The new automation technologies reduce labor costs by 50% and energy use by 30% and recycled water use by 98%. The farm, about 4,400 square meters, is the growing trend of vertical farming, where farmers grow indoors without natural sunlight. In addition to increasing production and reducing waste, vertical farming interior also eliminates the use of pesticides and herbicides, chemicals used in traditional agriculture outdoors can be harmful to the environment.

Dear customers, suppliers and friends:

20 years ago the founders of Garcia Mateo & Sinova, Pedro and Luis, began their pioneering work importing fruits and vegetables from Latin America, many of them unseen until then in Europe. These have been years of sacrifices, but also of rewards because of the many contacts we have made and the many bridges we have built with our American friends.

A few years ago we incorporated new energy in our company, with young and qualified people who will be in charge of piloting our ship with the same sense of honesty and seriousness as we have always shown, but bringing us new initiatives and fresh air.

Therefore we also wanted to update our WEB which we now introduce you, hoping it will help us all as a stable link and contact.

Consumer disputes can be resolved free The new law approved by the Government allows citizens to settle their claims out of court within a period of 90 days.

The Government has approved the Draft Law on Alternative Dispute Resolution Consumer, which allows citizens to settle their claims without resorting to litigation.

The standard sets the maximum time limit of 90 calendar days from the filing of the claim. The procedures are usually free to the consumer or at a lower cost 30 euros, Efe reported. It also provides that the mechanism is “transparent, simple, fast and fair, ensuring its impartiality”.

Employers have the obligation to report specifically on access to institutions of alternative dispute resolution. An important innovation is that they can exhibit their adherence to these entities as a quality bonus to your offer of goods and services.

Conflicts to which the draft refers are those of national or cross-border nature arising between a consumer and an entrepreneur, during or as a result of a purchase agreement or service contract concluded in person, electronically or by telephone.
