New Law consumption claims
Consumer disputes can be resolved free
Consumer disputes can be resolved free The new law approved by the Government allows citizens to settle their claims out of court within a period of 90 days.
The Government has approved the Draft Law on Alternative Dispute Resolution Consumer, which allows citizens to settle their claims without resorting to litigation.
The standard sets the maximum time limit of 90 calendar days from the filing of the claim. The procedures are usually free to the consumer or at a lower cost 30 euros, Efe reported. It also provides that the mechanism is “transparent, simple, fast and fair, ensuring its impartiality”.
Employers have the obligation to report specifically on access to institutions of alternative dispute resolution. An important innovation is that they can exhibit their adherence to these entities as a quality bonus to your offer of goods and services.
Conflicts to which the draft refers are those of national or cross-border nature arising between a consumer and an entrepreneur, during or as a result of a purchase agreement or service contract concluded in person, electronically or by telephone.
